Three games.
Three worlds.

All currently in development — each one a little different, each one made with care.

01 — ASCII Adventure

Untitled ASCII Game

In Development

A love letter to ZZT, the 1991 ASCII game that shipped with its own world editor and spawned a generation of bedroom developers. This is that — rebuilt and expanded. Make your own worlds, write scripts, build centipede bosses out of ASCII characters, and share them.

  • Authentic IBM VGA bitmap font rendering via pygame-ce
  • Full-featured world editor with multi-map support
  • Data-driven scripting: triggers, flags, events, dialogue
  • Monster AI: pathfinding, patrol, sight, centipedes
  • Dark rooms, torches, bombs, teleporters, custom objects
  • Inspired by ZZT by Tim Sweeney (1991)

02 — Luna's Quest

Luna's Scary Dinner Quest

In Development

Luna is a small white maltipoo with a big problem: the hallway between her and the food bowl is absolutely, terrifyingly haunted. Help her brave the dark in this cozy deck-building roguelike inspired by family, friends, and very real dog anxiety.

  • Deck-building roguelike with dog-themed cards
  • Based on our real maltipoo Luna — and friends' dogs as guest characters
  • Cards include Cower, Treato, Yip, Squeaky Hedgehog & more
  • Face the Demon of the Hallway (and other household terrors)
  • Lighthearted art direction with painterly card illustrations

03 — LIDE

Lunarian Logic IDE

In Development

A retro DOS-style IDE game where you design a working CPU from scratch. Write real SystemVerilog, define your own assembly language, and run your programs on an actual FPGA. It's a puzzle game that teaches you how computers actually work.

  • Write real SystemVerilog code to solve digital logic puzzles
  • Progress through campaign sectors from AND gates to full CPUs
  • Design a custom assembly language and instruction set
  • Level solutions verified by our own open source simple verilog simulation engine (svsim)
  • Retro terminal aesthetic with authentic DOS-style UI (built in Textual)
  • Demo sketches provided to optionally run several project levels on the inexpensive Tang Nano 20k FPGA development board

Luna — the inspiration, the mascot, and the bravest small dog

A studio built on
curiosity & doggos

We make what we love: roguelikes, ASCII dungeons, CPU design puzzles. Games built for the creative satisfaction of making them.

Luna — the small white maltipoo — shares the name, stars in a game, and remains unconvinced that the hallway is safe.
